About Me

Sissy Dre was inspired by my father, Robert Felix Rosales, particularly his stylish clothes and big-hearted ways of being. My father was always open to any new hobbies or opportunities and especially enjoyed meeting new people. I take on this creative venture to honor him in my own way. Creating from scratch has opened artistic doors within me that I never knew existed and I hope this blog helps to inspire some crafty part of you too. 000000

Big Daddy's Antiques

Wow ~ Hello Peeps ~
It's been a while since my last posting, sorry about that. I think this weather
has got me completely off balance. I can't even follow the weather reports
because there 100% WRONG.

Any-Hoot; last week my daughter Samantha and I were
out in the LA area doing some errands and we finished up relatively early,
so we decided to locate the antique shop "Big Daddy's Antiques".
We visited their space at the Rose Bowl Flea Market earlier in the month
and figured it merited a closer look-see.

Called up the 411 in LA and got the address, plugged it into
the GPS and we were on our way.

Big Daddy's Antiques

Los Angeles, CA 90061-1122

This place is too cool.... we went off to explore this huge playground of
unique antiques & repurpose ideas, on quite the grand scale ~

Love these laundry basket lamps

Can you say really big bird cage?

Vintage vaudeville hat

Check out that "ice"

I got to bring this mannequin home....

Male mannequin torsos

Great storage...

Gadzooks, this is LA art ~

Had a fun time looking around this huge piece
of property, the owners are really young and hip,
and of course have a great sense of style.

If your in the LA or San Francisco area you'll
want to visit "Big Daddy's Antiques"

For me and my treasure finding ~ I'll keep plugging away
at the garage and rummage sales ~

Happy Hunting ~

Much love to you daily ~
