Yard Sales, yes it's about finding the hidden treasures.

A friend of mind reminds me often, whatever your looking

for you will find it at a yard sale. Yes, of course, you need

to be patient. Yes, of course you won't find it right away, well

unless you do. And yes, when you do, be ready because

another chance might not come around again for a long time.

But, you will find it!

And you know what, she is Right!
For the last several monthsI've been going to yard sales every
Saturday morning starting the adventure at 6:30am.
And you know what, I'm loving it. It's still

quiet outside, the house is still.
Well, except for the puppies, who

wake up when they hear the stairs creek, then I have
to make a fast get-a-way before all the animals wake up.
That's another subject to get back to later.

You get to find all sort of great stuff.

However, one really doesn't think to find a

Chihuahua puppy? Well, I did. And I brought her home,

from a Norco, CA yard sale last weekend.

Yup, it's true. She was in a kennel with one of her

brothers, two had already been sold earlier that day, healthy

only one left and If I didn't already have two

other puppies at home, I would have taken her

brother too. But then I would be really nuts! RIGHT!

Well, were going on 7 dogs now, 3 puppies, and

4 seniors. All are happy, healthy, and

enjoying the much needed daily walks.

Hi Peeps ~

Well, after two whole days of trying to figure out,
why I couldn't post to my blog, and no picture uploads
were being processed. I now, know why, Gurr ~

My 15 year old son, Gabriel, solved my dilemma in a snap.
We share the love and hate relationship with our
technology tools. Anyhow, I was telling him my frustration,
on the car ride home tonight, from his basketball practice.
And, after dinner, he walked me thru the process and
poof ~
All is going to be okay.

Blogger is letting me know that I have no more memory
out of Picasa Web Album. So, I could either purchase
more memory from blogger for a monthly fee,
no don't want to do that. Or create an additional email address
and create "SissyDre 2" to continue my blog posting with
Blogspot.com as well as 100% free memory.
Hurray, that sounds good to me & that's
what I'm doing.

Here's my next steps. As of tonight, this will be my last
entry to this site. Over the next couple of days, I will create my
new blog and post to Facebook, NetworkedBlogs, and
Google Friend Connect to share with you, and I hope
you comeback and share with me.

Off to bed for an early morning walk then "blog" land
here I come.

Hi Friends ~

I thought before it gets any later in the month,

I better take a quick pic of the wonderful job

my husband did, creating our home made

manager scene. I still want to get hay, raise the

baby Jesus a little bit then,

add xmas music in the background for the

evening walkers.

Today was a Good Day

Hi Peeps ~

Well, the weather was working with us today ~ wouldn't ya say?!

The kids were sunbathing for most of the whole day today, getting

those bones dried out and just plain old relaxing in the sun.

And then at high-noon, the old posses got 1/2 pill of joint medicine

wrapped in turkey, and a little extra for Lorenzo with his 1/2 pill

of pain medicine crushed and sprinkled on top of dinner this evening.

Aha ~ bring on the joint med's ....

Lorenzo & Sophia

For the last two days "Lorenzo" hasn't been himself.

When Lorenzo was around 3 yrs old. he had a

running accident with "Isabelle", they both chased the ball at the same time and

Isabelle, literately ran over Lorenzo. After we got Isabelle out of the way,

Lorenzo was laying down yelping at the top of his lungs and

his back leg was not able to ben back to normal.

After taking him to the Veterinarian ER, he had surgery on his left back leg,

and a very small plate had to be placed round the knee cap

so it would not slip out of the socket. That was about 5 years ago now and

Lorenzo is approx. 8 yrs old this year. I have to look for his birth certificate record

to get his exact date. After the surgery, he was in the hospital for a week, then

he got to come home and recuperate. After two weeks, Lorenzo was back to his old

self, no problem. Isabelle and Lorenzo, and Grizzly went back to sleeping

together and being the pack thay are today. With the exception of Sophia, the

new addition to the pack. Lorenzo and Sophia bonded first, his fatherly

instincts took over and both of them related to each other very fondly.

Yesterday and today, Lorenzo has had trouble walking. His back legs

give out, and he is in pain for a while until the pain seems to pass.

I called a horse veterinarian friend of mine and she prescribed a

dog pain relief aspirin, every 3 hrs., and for now Lorenzo sleeps in a

kennel with a heading blanket. When its time to take him out I have to

cokes him with some cheese to come out and then take him outside.

I hope as the days move forward Lorenzo's pain will not be so

extreme and with the help of the warmer days approaching

he will be able to lay out in the sun next to the pool.

Bragging Rights

I don't tout my children very often, not that their achievements

don't merit acknowledgement, but more for internal enjoyment

for themselves.

Because frankly, success is short lived and failure is our teacher.

Wow, that sounds harsh doesn't it!?!?

It's a time to celebrate Samantha Harris, and her latest achievement.

Samantha has been playing volleyball for the past six years at her

school(s) and various volleyball clubs in southern California.

Her passion and proficiency is displayed every time she is on and off the court,

at every practice and of course in every game. She has strong and respectful

leadership skills as captain and co-captain positions that are always

growing her to new levels.

She has also been on the National Honor Society for the past six years.

Samantha displays tremendous agility, speed, and strength, that has been

acknowledged thought out the years by various coaches, scouts,

parents, and players.

As a freshmen in high school she accepted a open

position on the varsity team, for two years.

With much family discussion it was decided to transfer

from a private christian education to a public school education.

Both of my kids did and are currently doing extremely well with

the new adjustment. Samantha went to tryout's for the volleyball

program and made the varsity team once again.

However, as several

weeks of practice were going on we received a letter to attend a meeting

with the CIF (California Interscholastic Federation)

Commissioner, HS Athletic Director, and Varsity Coach,

to informed us of CIF Rules for varsity players in Southern California.

CIF Rules are, any player coming from a high school varsity level sport,

into a new school, on a varsity level will not be eligible

to play on a varsity level of the same sport for one season.

Wow, that was a huge awaking for us. Dealing with this new

awareness, we embraced the motto "it could be worse". At least

the rules don't say "you can't play volleyball at all!".

So, the following week Samantha was introduced to the JV Coach,

and players. Challenges bubbled to the surfaces quickly. Three girls on the team,

have never played the game before and the other girls have only played the

previous season. This was a new leaning experience for this very young, seasoned

volleyball player. A new mind set needed to be established, with grace and

patient. Throughout this season we had a lot of late night long talks,

tears, frustration, growth, and love.

And, all of this has again, has taken Samantha to another level of leadership,

with her coaches, team mates, teachers, and herself.

Last night was the award banquet for the Volleyball program at

Upland High School.

Samantha received the MVP Award (Most Valuable Player).

We are looking forward to a new club season as well as a new high school

season at the varsity level.

After years of being a mother, I've come to know a few things. Both of my

children are my heart. The grace and love of God watching over us, has help

all of us become better people.

Kids are healthy again, everyone back to school this day and hopefully

all this week as well.

Slept thru the thunder & lighting last night, and work up to a

beautiful crisp morning.

All in a Day ~

Got up early and woke up Teddy...
She looks perturbed, doesn't she?!?!?!

Then headed out to VG to check out the Apple Shop ~

Then we took a ride out to "HorseTown USA Norco, CA" ~ Where horses have

equal and more rights then people ~

This is pretty neat, the elephant and the zebra pictures are

painted on palm branches using acrylic paints.

Love these rocks, each rock is painted with words from the Bible

then heated in the over for about 15 minuets to ensure the

paint is baked into the rock.

So, we left "Tom's Farm" and took a walk

down the street to see some friends of mine, Joyce & LeRoy

of "Odds N Ends Rescue".

This is a animal's lover paradise ~ lots of critters

you don't see as regular pets.

Yes, it was a fun filled and packed day with

those animals.

And oh yes, did I tell you, we came home with two kittens

from Joyce & LeRoy's place.

And here they are, the grey one is Roscoe, and the

black & white one is Lincoln

Their 5 weeks old and so very cute....

Joyce, has here own animal rescue in Norco, CA, it's called

"Odds n Ends Rescue"

Joyce is known in the area and beyond the county line,

for her willingness to take in the not so common

domesticated animal.

Today I saw baby hedgehogs, a emu, broken winged crows,

and a African water turtle.

As you know, the goal of a rescue organization is to acclimate

the injured or non social animal back into a home or if possible

back into the wild, which is the ultimate success story.

When an animal is received into the rescue it's logged into a

data base with details of it's history if any, current issues,

date received, type of animal, and

status of it's condition, and then the observation and

study begins on the animal.

Sometimes the stories are very sad and even when the animals

are brought into the rescue and are taken care of they don't make

always make a recovery. And that's when it gets really tough. The heart

break is very emotional, but with the sadness comes the strength to

continue the cause to educate and bring awareness to others

on the various concerns owning non domestic pets.

Unfortunately its not uncommon to see different domestic puppies & kitten

dropped off in front of her place from time to time. As well as getting

a picture text with the caption stating "will be put down" in 24 hrs. if not

adopted when the call comes in. And that's when Joyce gets the kennels

loaded into her truck & takes a drive to where the animal is &

usually brings them home to start the rehabilitation process.

This is how we got the two kittens, Roscoe & Lincoln.

Neighbors and supporters who know the cause will sometimes

drop off various type of food for the animals. The cost of

feeding these animals runs approx. $1400. per month.

I'm so grateful this road of life has crossed into meeting Joyce, she has

enriched my life to a different level more then I could have imagined.

She is the animal rescuer, the antique dealer, the collector, the artist,

the environmentalist, the spiritual soul sister, the behaviorist,

the cowgirl, and so much more.

Capturing moments with my camera are some of the things

that make this journey of life so wonderful. And visiting Joyce's

world has touched my heart in a spiritual way.

I believe understanding that others have interests and passions,

and hopefully finding one of your own, makes people enjoy

life a little more. It gives you something to connect yourself to

others with, and that makes life even sweeter.

Human or Animal, I'm reminded how much alike we all are.

Hi Friends ~

Busyness is everywhere, and every weekend. It's been rapid fired since Sept. with the change of seasons every four weeks ~ and the fun with our church family, family friends and immediate family, all has been non-stop too, with way to much laughing that's going on to get much work done. At this point were looking at quality instead of quantity, I'm just saying.... craziness going on.

Okay, some work got done......

With a small break this week with no volleyball and the celebration of "Veterans Day" ~ The chirps of birds were in the air, wire nest and beads, made their way on to the work table then some doll templates jumped on board.

Wow ~ Hello Peeps ~

It's been a while since my last posting, sorry about that. I think this weather

has got me completely off balance. I can't even follow the weather reports

because there 100% WRONG.

Any-Hoot; last week my daughter Samantha and I were

out in the LA area doing some errands and we finished up relatively early,

so we decided to locate the antique shop "Big Daddy's Antiques".

We visited their space at the Rose Bowl Flea Market earlier in the month

and figured it merited a closer look-see.

Called up the 411 in LA and got the address, plugged it into

the GPS and we were on our way.

Day of the Dead Couture Class

It was a special day for me. I was lucky enough to get into

a "Julie Nutting" class at "stamp you heart out" in Claremont, CA. today.

The fist time I got to meet Julie was last weekend, at Glitterfest.

My daughter recognized Julie's art a mile away, and it didn't hurt that

our booths were just a couple of table away from each other at the show,

and we got to chat for a bit.

When I arrived at class this morning, Julie & I said our hello's

and then she stop'd and said Oh, I almost didn't recognized you

without your hat. You had to be there ~~~

Anyhow.... Julie is an awesome artist. She has been featured in Somerset

Studio Magazine several times. Julie is funny, charming, and witty.

Today we are learning the art of paper collage. We created an 8 x 10 project featuring one

of her brilliantly designed works using a "Day of The Dead theme.

~ GF "Glitterfest October 2010"

Glitterfest started with a "meet & greet" party on Friday evening in Tustin, CA.

I got to chat with Sheryl & Dianne's mom for a bit and enjoyed her humor,

she is such a hoot, she a wonderful lady and of course is so very

proud of her girls and this event.

In the morning we all arrived and went to our assigned tables,

and started the set-up process.

This year Glitterfest had vendors outside and the doors remained

open durning the whole show, unfortunately that caused the AC to work on overload,

and soon it became crazy hot. I believe it was just a fluke this year, there

was not much anyone could to about it anyways.

Lots of exciting elements of the day took place, a couple of photographers

from Romantic Home magazine came by to take pictures of my

booth. No promises of getting published but will see, I'll keep you all

posted.

Busy, Busy, Busy @ Treasures & Junk on "Labor Day".

Monday was non-stop from 9:30 am to 5pm ~

taking items to the counter for customer to keep shopping,

lots of snacks, ice creams, soda pops, and cup cakes.

I have to say the most enjoyable time for me was meeting

and getting to know my fellow vendors. These gals & guys

are moms & dads, fellow animal rescuers, antique lovers, shooters,

church goers ~

some have been in the business for 30 plus years, some

have multiple business, some have been collecting

for a couple of years, like me. In Dec. this will be my 2nd

year at Treasures & Junk. All the new friends I met

on Monday are awesome and free spirited ~ I look forward to getting

to know them better.

Thanks to Jenna & Chad for bringing all us vendors together

in this happy "free spirited" place of business and friendship.

Hi Peeps ~

It's been a while since the last time I've blogged..

..what a bummer for me.

Last weekend hit about 10 garage sales

here in my little town of Upland, CA.

I really enjoy chatting with the old folks,

I love hearing the stories behind the things

that they are wanting to depart with, after

so many years of holding on their enduring

treasures. My most enjoyable find during the

weekend was the "Vintage Wood Grain Embroidery Hoops"

I suppose it's because I'm familiar with the sewing

community and enjoy the stories of how these older

gals got their start in the business. As well as

tips, and advise only by experience they are willing to

share.

Now what to do with them???? Hum....

Well, I've had them for a couple of days now, starring at

them is not working~nor is it giving me any ideas

on how to re-purpose them.

So, If I don't come up with any ideas....off to the shop

they go....

Hi Peeps ~ Wow haven't blogged in a while, shame on me.

Been busy with garage sales here in Upland, CA for about

the last 5 weeks .....

Rummaging thur boxes, closets, backyards, lawn furniture,

and whatever else no one wants to look thur. Found some neat

stuff that I haven't see in a while ~ I'm having so much fun, and it's

getting kinda of addicting. My kids cringes when they see

"garage sale" signs because I so want to pull over and take

a peek.....

Altered Bottle Class ~ Garden of Beaden

Hi Peeps ~ Wow, it's been fun busy ~

I took a "Altered Bottle" class at

"The Garden of Beaden"

with new friends and of course our amazing instructor

"Robin Dudley-Howe ~

my memtor and now, a long time friend.

Here's what I got done today ~ and had some time left over and played

with a new medium that has a spooky feel to it.

October will be here before we know it!

I came across some porcelain doll parts from two sisters that were members

of the doll club "Seaside Dollies" in Long Beach, CA.

Anyhow, back in the day, their mom was into making porcelain dolls and

teaching at the local collage ~ process the porcelain into a

mold and fire up the kiln, sculpt the details onto the doll face,

attach limbs, and the head, and poof it's done.

I wish it were that easy ~

So much goes into making a porcelain doll

that it's quite laborious, but gratifying, like doll making is :-)

So, to make a long story short ~

these two sisters no longer could hold all the materials in there storage facility.

They had been trying to find a home for this stuff, for months.

They went to the local college art department, posting on-line,

and had no bites.

So the last resort was to bring this news

into the club meeting. Not one of the members were

interested in seeing what they had, and

definitely not interested taking this stuff

home with them.

Well, the girls said this was their last attempt

of finding a home for the doll stuff. And if this couldn't

get done, all the "Porcelain Doll Stuff"

will be "THROW" in the dumpster.

What?? Can you believe that?!?!

No, this can't happen!!!

Well, after we talked for a while, I

understood the dilemma. Not being able to keep all this stuff

any longer, due to financial constraints and

their husbands not wanting to store stuff in the garage ~

I said ~ I'll take the stuff. And I got lots of

"what are you going to do with the doll stuff?"

I said "I don't know" but if that was me, and my Mother

or Father, had made things while I was growing

up with their own hands, with their own love and passion ~

into their work.........

It would be very hard for me to give it away, and worse

having to throw it away in a dumpster.

It would break my heart ~ and that's the reason

alone, I couldn't let this happen.

Plus ~ I looked at this as an adventure ~ I know

nothing about Porcelain Doll making.

Well, I was not really sure what to expect,

so we arranged a time and date to pick up the doll stuff.

The sisters called several times prior to the date of pick-up

to confirm that I was still interested in the doll stuff and

that I was still coming to pick all of it up.

I assured them, our plans are the same, and on schedule,

you can't change my mind ~ ladies!

The sisters mention several times ~ I need to make sure I

came back in a large vehicle, but assured me it was not that much stuff.

I kinda laughed and ~ said see ya in a couple of weeks, ladies.

So here we go ~ the porcelain doll findings......

The white tarp, didn't look like much at first glance.....

Still, was not concerned getting "the stuff" into the SUV......

Mold ~ of a doll head.....

Lots of doll molds, heads, legs, hands, arms, feet, body, etc...

Casting porcelain solution .....

Porcelain doll tools.....

Well, after we got this stuff into the SUV, one of the

husband of the sister just finished loading the patten

boxes from storage and pulled up in his truck.

The long bed of the Dodge Ram Truck, was loaded down

with doll patterns. It took about 1hr to load them up ~ had

the room in the SUV, and the help to get it done.

Arrival of "stuff" at my house..... stored in the breezeway

from that day ~ and today.

Carefully packaged, doll parts, and lots of other stuff...patterns,

hair, shoes, eyes, buttons, sculpting tools, rope, wire, etc...

did I say patterns, tons of patterns.

Removed packaging from the top of first box and

here's what I found......

This is the 4th box, smaller doll parts, and some already

put together.....and the other boxes have much of the

same things in them, from small to big, and in between.

This is the first doll part I used.

I want to do more to this project, and make her look vintage tattered, old, and spooky ~

Working on it more this week and will report back shortly ~

It's amazing how, one medium can spark other ideas from objects around

the house. I thought I would never used any of these doll parts...and would

need to post them on ebay or have a garage sale, etc.

I kinda forgot that I had them ~ until a couple of days ago when

I signed up for this class.

I'm looking forward to see where this little project takes me.

Afternoon Peeps ~ Busy morning today, lots of paperwork

that's keeps me on edge. However, I've put some of that away

for now and finished up "Miss Raven".

She needs just a few embellishments left to get done to her stand and then on

to the next project for the fall show.

I added a necklace to "Miss Raven" ~ the first time I've used jewelry

to a doll and she had to have her pet kitty with her.

Tea Dyed and Stamped Clothespins

So many projects on the table during these last two weeks ~

lots of experimenting with new paints and various power tools ~

to much fun for a girl to get it done in a couple of days.

Anyhow ~ did a huge batch of tea dyed clothespins,

with stamped images, large & small.

New Patriotic Cloth Dolls

Hi Peeps ~ playing catch up on my new gals for the holiday, these gals

are my 3rd and 4th "Patriotic" dolls for the season. Wanted to share

a small part of the process that goes on when moving thru the creative

steps... and when I can remember to take some pictures now and then.

In the picture below the doll does not have any white on her eyes, what a

difference it makes once more color is added to here eyes, as well as

hair and changing accessories.

Wow ~ What a busy day, started out around 8am this morning

heading out to Clairmont's Farmers Market, at the Village square ~

Here's a couple of pictures of some great looking fruit and vegetables ~

When such beautiful fruit and vegetables are provided

by our local growers, I wonder how our chain markets

can stay in business ~ Support your local growers ~

On to all types of flowers, orchids, and cactus ~ OOOLAY ~

When I look at these orchids I can almost here spectacular

conversations going on among each other ... what's going

on in your blooming community ~ kinda like the crocking

frogs at "Green Valley Lake"

Soldering Pieces ~

Ah ~ just finished dinner with the family, it was very yummy.

Chicken, mac & cheese, and caesar salad, with satisfaction all the way around.

Now that you know where, I'm coming from I had a very few minuets

to blog.

Okay, so last night I finished some soldering pieces that I thought I would never

get done ~ However, some are completed and I still have some to go.

I wanted to share what I accomplished with you and to let you know, that

this project took way longer then I thought. The soldering process is quite

involved, well for me anyways ~

Here's what I did ~ first collaborated on the images, shape, and composition, of the

art piece. Then had to copper tape all pieces. Then comes the fun part, actually

getting to solder the pieces create.

Tell me what you think ~ I have several more pieces to go, then need to seal

with "clear gloss Polyurethane" and then choose the type of chain to add

to the pieces and perhaps a bit more embellishments for fun.

Today a friend and I took a little trip down south

to a town called Fallbrook, CA. ~ to visit some gals who were

having a "Barn Sale" at their other friends house.

The ladies who created this event are seasoned vendors at

selling antiques & vintage furnishings for home & garden,

and organic product and so much more.....

Rita Reade and Christie Repasy along with several

hand selected vendors, displayed lovely works of art,

in quite the charming way ~ come in a check it out.

Wow, this auction and it was amazing .. at least to me it was..

Tara and I were driving to our Friday
garage sales route and we were in the area
of the Upland Auction House.
Personally, I never notice this place before, it's
right across the street from IHOP.

Anyhow, she mention that next time were in the area,

we should stop and fine out what it's all about.

So I said, let's do it now.

I made a u-turn and we stopped

to take a look.

It happen to be "preview" day,

the public has the opportunity to view the items

that well be up for auction on Sunday.

Lots of very large furniture, drop down bed, antique radios,

turn of the century dressers, rocking chairs,

chandlers, to record collections, sliver pots & pans,

forks and knives, bird cages, shelves,

porcelain gnomes, vintage hats, purses,

jewelry real and costume, and so much more....

Needless to say ~ we went back on Sunday,
June 13 @ 3 O'clock ~ to check out
"Upland Auction"

I was so caught up in the excitement that I almost

forgot to snap some pictures, but the ones I did

take, were spare of the moment.

If you ever have a chance to attend an auction of any

Painting Project ~ Crib

What a blast this sale was ~ under new ownership of Jenna and Chad (a brother & sister team)

this antique venue is really worth a ride to Ontario, CA.

The day started for some of us vendors at 6:30am, getting the shop ready for the day event,

some of the larger items were set outside for the customers to enjoy and chat about.

There were old trucks, cars, motorcycles, bikes, tri-cycles, barber chairs, ect.....

so many items ~ it's a challenge to name them all.

So many individual vendors with-in this huge building space, lots to see inside as well.

When you do come on down, carved out about 2 hours, to peruse through this unique antique shop.

You'll find yourself taking a walk down memory lane, with all the things you'll see,

toys you played with when you were a kid, maybe even the family table you used to eat dinners on.

So .......now that you get the picture of how fun and fabulous this antique shop

is ~ I hope you get a chance to visit sooner then later.

Mad Hatter Tea Party ~ Hosted by "The Garden of Beaden"

Alice in Wonderland Tea Party!

On Wednesday evening May 26th, the "Garden of Beaden" held a
"Mad Hatter Tea Party" , hosted by Proprietor Irene Sanchez.

The "Garden of Beaden" host a quarterly Artists bead / creative art piece,
challenge. This is where the shop provides the theme of the challenge and the
local artists provide the artistic creative art pieces, based on the theme.
Irene, encourages not just bead work to be entered in these challenges, but
any and all types of creative endeavor, that invokes the imagination of the current
challenge, using the chosen theme.

Last quarters challenge was "Alice in Wonderland" and anyone who has seen the movie
featuring Jonny Depp, knows how creative one could get with this animated movie.

A mandatory requirement for this specific challenge ~ at the wrap

up party ~ all would be required to attend the event with a

favorite tea cup and loveliest hat your own, borrow, or make.

Let's hurry to the the party, before the "Mad Hatter" tells us to leave .....

Glitterfest Spring 2010

Yesterday, May 22, 2010 was a big day for all the artists who attending the 2nd annual,

Mixed Media Art Show & Sale ~ "Glitterfest".

Hosted by Diane White & Sheryl Simpson of "Whimzy".

Whimzy receives weekly ~ and a few surprise pieces that will

"WOW" the socks off ya ~

On with the show ~

Artists arrival & set up between 7:00 & 9:00 am...

it was like watching a parade for two hours, I could not

focus on one thing to long because, right behind the first

fabulous art pieces coming in ~ the next load of dollies and

hired help, were bringing in loads of other fabulous art.

It was really incredible.

This show is a mixture of recycle, reclaimed, objects,

old & new fibers, fabrics, jews, beads, glass, soldering objects,
paper, clay, ... and so much more then I can not capture.

What I can say is, 90% of the artists and their art for

this show is exquisite and on the cutting edge of a new artist society.

So, here are just a few of the pictures I captured, I sure wanted
to take more. However, I hope you are able to attend the next
"Glitterfest" on October 2, 2010 ~

Well, that was just a very small piece of the talented

artists that were at the show, there were 56 artists total,

with approxiently 500 ~ 600 patrons in attendance.

I love this "corner of my world" that I have fallen into

in so many ways. All the artists that I have come across have only wanted to share

their craft openly and honestly to encourage and inspire everything hand made.

My hope and wish for you, is that you do get the change to attended

Glitterfest Fall on October 2, 2010 same place &

same time.
